I'm Tom Parkes, I design and create things, take and edit photo's and enjoy anything else artistic or creative that comes my way.

I created this site to act as more of a personal workbook, and an archive of my work. I guess it also acts as a portfolio, feel free to contact me with any enquires. You can also find out more about me by clicking the arrow to the right.

I love having a versatile and wide range of capabilities because it keeps me motivated and interested in different ways of approaching design.

i-DAT?

"i-DAT is a ‘Centre of Expertise’ located in the Faculty of Technology at the University of Plymouth, and acts as a catalyst for creative research and innovation across the fields of Art, Science and Technology, facilitating regional, national and international collaborations and cultural projects."

I'm currently taking a Degree in Digital Art and Technology at Plymouth University, my workbook for this can be found here

Finding time to draw

I have always liked to draw, but I find it very time consuming. Nowadays I prefer design, but I think drawing is a skill which can be very widely used.

Here is a drawing I started some time ago which I recently finished. Not sure why I decided to draw Spiderman.
